Shelf Reliance/ Giveawaytoday

I won! Yahoo! Thanks to http://www.giveawaytoday.blogspot.com/ I was able to enter to win a rotating food storage shelf! I know it may not sound that exciting, but its so cool. You can stack them on top of each other to get the most out of the pantry space you do have and they rotate through your cans and make it easy to see what you have. Shelf Reliance is the company that sells them. They are food storage geniuses! They have anything having to do with food storage, shelves, 72 hr kits, and the food. My favorite is the freeze dried fruit, so tasty :) Hopefully I will get them soon, I am super excited if you couldn't tell. Wow I'm a nerd, getting excited about food storage! Oh, well its always fun to win something!

Venting about FAT

Okay so my 5yr class reunion is this month and I'm not sure I want to go. I've gained 70 lbs+ since I graduated high school. I expected 10 or so from being married, most people gain that, but 70! I'm devestated, I don't take pictures anymore cause I hate looking at them. I want to just stop getting ready in the morning cause I don't see the point. I don't have the energy to run around with my nieces and nephews. I hate shopping...I never hated shopping! I avoid mirrors like the plague. I am so depressed all the time. And the worst thing of all, my wedding ring doesn't fit anymore!!! Thats not suppose to happen until you are pregnant and puffy. I'm so angry at myself and that just brings on more stress and depression, which then makes me break out with zits. I was talking to an old friend from high school and if anyone knows Elizabeth Ault, you will understand, but she doesn't know how to beat around the bush to be nice. This is how the conversation went, Liz-"are you going to the reunion?" me-"probably, I just gained alot of weight so I kind of don't want to" Liz-"you should start losing it" Me-"well I've just started trying to" Liz-"what are you doing?" me-"walking, jogging, and watching what I eat" Liz-" You should try running"....me-awkward pause trying to change the subject..."so what have you been up to this summer?" I mean come on, thats a little harsh, oh well I guess I needed it, maybe I will thank her later. Anyway, I guess I'm done venting. I went to my first Zumba class last night and loved it. Zumba is like a dancing aerobic class. I was bigger than anyone in the room but one so that was depressing, but maybe if I keep at it, I will be the same size as them.

Selling Items

Hey if anyone knows someone who needs or wants any of these items, let us know. We are trying to sell these things:

CD Player (100 disc changer)
Prom Dresses (size 8-10)

Work

I've been working in our Mortgage department here at the credit union. They are so busy because of the rates being so low and everyone refinancing. I'm not loving the drive, but I carpool with another lady so its not so bad. I will eventually be working at the new branch in lehi right by our house when it opens. UCCU is holding off on opening it and they say they will re-evaluate in April. So, until then, I'm at our corprate offices.

Brian is going back full time next monday. They cut his hours back because it was so slow. He is so grateful to be going back. He has been so bored.

New Calling

So I was called to be the Primary Secretary in our ward. I am very scared because I don't know very many people in the ward, let alone the kids names. Oh well, I know its where I'm suppose to be, so my Heavenly Father will help me through. I am excited to work with kids though because they are more on my level as far as Gospel history & knowledge goes :) I am finding that this calling requires organization and a long to do list. ha ha ha. Which I'm not great at, but I am learning. Wish me luck!

Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years

So I kind of stink at this blogging thing, I missed all three of these holidays.

Thanksgiving- We went to my parents house and ate way too much as usual. A couple of my aunts and uncles were there along with my cute grandparents. We entertained ourselves by watching the dogs wrestle, and chatting.

Christmas- We had Brian's sister and her family stay with us for Christmas. They have two boys and it was so fun to watch their traditions and cute family. I got Rock Band for christmas, so we literally did nothing for the next couple of days except play rock band. We were having so much fun that we decided we needed another guitar so we stayed up til midnight thinking that walmart would be open...no luck, but it was fun anyway. I think they stayed up til 3 in the morning playing! If you haven't played this game you may not understand how addicting it is :) We were suppose to go up to Deer Valley on Christmas, but it was too snowy and the roads were slick. I felt bad cause we hadn't planned on being home, so there wasn't any food in the house! Oh well. We ended up going to deer valley the day after so it was good.

New Years- We have developed a favorite place to go for New Years and if the Bevan's (my cuz) ever stop throwing parties we are in trouble :) This year we played Hit or Miss which is one of the funnest games, and also played guitar hero. I know we are getting older when we all say happy new year and a couple minutes later Brian is practically asleep next to me.

Cleo- We also got a puppy in november, shortly after we moved into our home. I'm not sure why we were so excited to get a poop machine that tears everything apart and pees all over, but lucky for her she is still alive and part of our little family now. Her name is Cleo and she is a Puggle, which is a mix between a pug and a beagle. She is finally starting to get the hang of the whole potty training thing...when we are home.
